Welcome! I am Shruthi Shekar, the current president of LI CLAS Arts as an undergraduate student at MIT. A few years back I started this non-profit organization with the help of my family to provide educational and extracurricular resources to students across Long Island. Our mission is to essentially make learning fun! We teach different classes relating to the Indian culture, including Indian language classes, Indian Classical music lessons, and shloka classes. In addition, we tutor students in all subjects, SAT, and AP courses. We have a plethora of events and volunteering opportunities for our students to participate in. Here in LI CLAS Arts we give our students a second place to call home!
